 Position Summary:

The Clinical Program Manager works in collaboration with clinical and operational leadership, clinical support staff, and program coordinators to implement, oversee and evaluate a portfolio of grant-funded initiatives.  The Clinical Program Manager also acts as a liaison between external partners, internal stakeholders and funders to ensure the effective and successful translation of the funded projects into the clinical setting.  This is a full time position reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise program coordinators for refugee health, prenatal services, preventive health care and childhood obesity;
  • In collaboration with program coordinators, create detailed work plans that identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete funded projects in refugee health, prenatal services, preventive health care and childhood obesity;
  • Ensure that the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete the project are deployed in adherence with funding and budgeting guidelines;
  • Develop and oversee a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities;
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities;
  • Set up and maintain electronic files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured;
  • Monitor the progress of the projects and make adjustments as necessary to ensure their successful completion;
  • Establish a communication schedule to update internal and external stakeholders on the progress of the projects;
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
  • Ensure timely follow-up with staff, partners and patients;
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality;
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the projects as established during the planning phase;
  • Coordinate with the Grants Manager to ensure all grant reports and related materials are submitted in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bilingual Preferred (English and Spanish)
  • One to two years of experience working in healthcare/community health setting
  • Strong leadership/supervisory skills
  • Prior experience with process analysis and quality improvement
  • Experience working in an administrative capacity
  • Tech savvy, Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communications and administrative skills
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Detail-oriented and efficient
  • Experience working in a community health center preferred
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.
  • Experience as program coordinator or relevant position desirable
  • Knowledge of budgeting and reporting
